7 June 2024 Release: Application sharing

We are excited to announce the release of the Application Sharing feature in Micro. This feature allows you to share applications you built using Micro and import applications built by others as easily as sharing a link.

Sharing your application

All you need to do to share your application is to click the "Share" button in the application menu (Info tab):

Pressing this button will greet you with a dialog, where you can copy the link to your application or generate one if you are not already sharing it:

Importing an application

All you need to do to import an application is to follow the link you received from the author and being logged in to Micro.

Some applications for you to try

We are working on a library of applications that you can use as a starting point for your projects. For now please try the following applications:

• Inventory management create. This application creates inventory items in a database. Database is provided for you by Svtoo and is shared between all users. It is a good starting point for you to learn how to work with databases in Micro. The credentials of this user allow you to Put/Read Item and perform Scan operations. So you can create a get one and get all items applications on your own, to practice using Micro.
• Data aggregator. This application demonstrates how Micro can use multiple data sources to aggregate and enrich data. This application does not use real database but rather has hardcoded in-memory storage. It demonstrates how Micro can merge data from different sources as well as do non-trivial computations based on the data.
